Permaculture

Permaculture, originally a contraction of ‘permanent’ and ‘agriculture’, has now evolved to embrace a more wholistic study of ‘permanent’ or more sustainable human ‘culture’. Originating with the theories of using Nature as a model for design of productive landscapes by Australians Bill Mollison and David Holmgren, it is an integrated design system that has at it’s foundation a set of ethics: Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share.
